funding and R&D grant
know-how
We already have a strong expertise in applying for and implementing R&D projects and are familiar with a variety of funding grants. Examples can be found at all levels:
- EU: Horizon 2020, EU's previous RnD program. We have already participated in several Horizon Europe (HEU) trainings to improve our skills in proposal writing.
- National (BMBF, BMEL/FNR, BMWi, ZIM, IGF),
- State (e.g. Hessian Excellence Initiative "LOEWE")
- and others (DFG, INFOR (VDP), DBU, Stiftung Mercator, FIF (TUDa)).
Together with you, we will of course also be happy to apply for funding in all other formats.

Dr. Simon Trosien has been intensively involved in science management and the acquisition of funding for research and development for the past 7 years. Therefore, he has been involved in several large interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral collaborative projects, in some of them as coordinator. Among others, he has contributed significantly to the successful application of DFG Collaborative Research Centers, large joint research projects of the EU/EC, the BMWi, the BMEL and the Hessian Excellence Initiative "LOEWE", whereby double-digit million amounts were acquired.
Scientifically, Dr. Trosien has strong expertise in lignin and cellulose chemistry, paper and fiber functionalization, organic chemistry, surface chemistry, bio-based materials, coatings, chemical analysis and surface analysis (Publications on Google Schoolar).
Personally, Dr. Trosien provides very good planning skills, an always clear overview of all pending tasks, including prioritizations, and maximum reliability.
